From the pioneers of Fake News, the BBC has come out to bash UK foreign secretary Boris Johnson for an open mic recording where he condemned UK allies, Saudi Arabia for bloody proxy wars in Syria, Yemen and other parts of the world.
Boris Johnson in the video [below] condemned Iran and Saudi Arabia for fighting proxy wars in Middle East vulnerable nations. The foreign secretary called for leadership changes in the Middle east in a bitter tirade against what he called the Kingdom’s puppeteering and “twisting and abuse of religion” for political agenda.
“The issue is [countries] using religion as an instrument of politics. That should not be.”
“And the tragedy for me – and that’s why you have these proxy wars being fought the whole time in that area – is that there is not strong enough leadership in the countries themselves.
“That’s why you’ve got the Saudis, Iran, everybody, moving in and puppeteering and playing proxy wars. And it’s a tragedy to watch. We need to have some way of encouraging visionary leadership in that area,” he said.
But the BBC was not taking it. Boris Johnson needs to respect UK diplomacy and its allies, the BBC vented.
While admitting that a Sunni-Shia divide sucked “Saudi Arabia and Iran into a regional power play” in the region and that “there is a lack of leadership and vision in the Middle East which creates conflicts and opportunities for outside powers to flex their muscles;” and also that “Mr Johnson’s predecessors” would agree with his analysis, it should only be said “behind closed doors,” the BBC wailed.
“No, Mr Johnson’s mistake was to say something in public that is normally said in private.”
Theresa May just “dined with the Saudi king, praised the kingdom for its reforms and given thanks for the vital intelligence the Saudi security services have provided Britain over the years,” the corporation continued.
Concluding that;
“The foreign secretary’s problem is that truth is not always good diplomacy.”
It is disturbing to notice how the BBC is proud to promote FakeNews at media and government levels and kick against government officials who speak the truth even if it is important truths to save lives around the world and promote global peace.
Double Stance
While the BBC and UK government openly condemn Iran, one half of the equation and the broadcasting corporation has no qualms with Johnson criticizing Iran in the same speech, the media organisation is upset that he did same against Saudi Arabia.
The reality is clear. Truth does not matter. The Main Stream Media, MSM is the fifth arm of the government and they not only proudly broadcast FakeNews but openly attack officials when they speak the truth for the sake of humanity.
