The Nigeria security forces have always revealed that they are subsidiaries of the Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram Islamic terrorists because they do not cease to murder innocent and peaceful citizens. International human rights watchdog, Amnesty International, has indicted the Nigeria security forces for extra judicial killings and violence against the people of Biafra but that seems not to have deterred them from committing more atrocities against Biafrans.
The Biafra Heroes Remembrance Day slated for May 30th has been met with threats from the Nigeria security force notably by the Police IG, Suleiman Idris, who has accused the Indigenous People of Biafra of trying to go against the laws of Nigeria. The Police press release is moronic because it is the right of the people of Biafra to decide whether they want to sit at home or not. Suleiman Idris is not new in the killing of unarmed Biafrans on peaceful demonstration, as he has continued from his predecessor, Solomon Arase.
The September 22nd 2016 sit-at-home, when the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, was in prison was notably peaceful and recorded no incidence. Rather, it is the Nigeria police and its armed forces that have continued to kill and abduct innocent Biafrans for their support for the restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra. The murderous Nigeria security should have known by this time that the display of armored tanks and military personnel all over Biafra land does not scare the Indigenous People of Biafra. IPOB has shown repeatedly that they are not afraid of death.
Early this morning, military helicopters have been hovering over the home of the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, with its mission unknown yet. There are suspicions that the Nigeria government is attempting to use an armed robbery cover to assassinate him. Any harm or attempt on the life of Nnamdi Kanu will plunge the country into crisis and must be avoided. IPOB is well known for its peaceful and diplomatic ways in its quest for the self-determination right of the Indigenous people enshrined in the United Nations Universal Charter which Nigeria is also a signatory.
The invasion of Biafra Land in guerilla form has begun with the deployment of warfare weaponry in order to frighten and harass peaceful Biafrans. Undeterred, Biafrans have continued to go about their normal businesses with their mind set on tomorrow to honor and remember the heroes and heroines, who died so we can survive the extermination during the Biafra Genocide of 1967-70 till date. It is the responsibility of the international community and media to on that day observe independently and unbiased the commitment and unity of the people of Biafra to be independent. Nigeria must be forced to act civil through a referendum. The continuous extra judicial killings and violence against the Indigenous People of Biafra is a catalyst for the oath taken which is “Biafra of Death”
