The Nigerian Army Chief Buratai’s convoy was blocked in Abuja Sunday morning!
General Tukur Yusuf Buratai was driving along Obafemi Awolowo way, Abuja, on Sunday morning around 9:15am with his armoured convoy that some say is more elaborate than that of the Nigerian President, when he met a barricade mounted as usual by a Christian organization, the MOUNTAIN OF FIRE CHURCH.
According to several eyewitnesses, the Army general’s convoy quickly took a diversion and went on with its journey without any confrontation with the Christians.
We are forced to contrast this happening with the recent protested Zaria massacre in which case some Buhari-fanatic commentators have said that had he retreated, he would have shamed his uniform. His retreating in Abuja Sunday did not appear to disgrace his uniform, did it? Buratai is still the COAS. One must really ask and be concerned about whose script the Army acted upon when it murdered 1000+ civilians, minority Muslims in Zaria, whether it was orders from the Kaduna government or/additionally orders from outside Nigeria’s borders?
Nigeria’s military headquarters was relocated to Maiduguri to bring a successful eld to the war on terror, but the army chief appears to have refused to relocate.
