In latest trecherous updates from the heart of the Boko Haram war on Nigeria, we have been informed that the Sarkin Baka Adamawa has been arrested and is being interrogated by the Nigerian security services for leading Ibn Fadlallah vigilante civilian forces to recapture territories seized by Boko Haram terrorists.
We reported yesterday that Boko Haram burned down the house of the Sarkin Baka, head hunter in retaliation for the hunters dislodging them. It is beyond belief that the Nigerian security services is furthering the terrorists agenda by further detaining a civilian patriot at the head of defeating Boko Haram in Mubi leading to the capture of the Boko Haram “Emir” installed over the town they had renamed “Madinatul Islam.”
The Jonathan-led government has been aggressively operating a serious clampdown on brave Nigerian civilian patriots who have been engaging Boko Haram terrorists, killing them and recovering territory from them, including Mubi in Adamawa and Maiha.
The Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba made an urgent public announcement Thursday to witch-hunt in the name of “screen” all vigilantes across Nigeria. Public commentator, Dr. Peregrino Brimah promptly identified that this was a mission to hinder the celebrated progress of the Ibn Fadlallah warriors, including vigilantes, hunters, ex service men, CJTF and brave Nigerian soldiers who had made remarkable gains against the terrorists frustrating their moves and sending them fleeing. The government proved this true by ordering the vigilante forces to assemble in Yola for so-called screening thereby allowing the terrorists regain grounds and progress to capture Gombi, Hong and advance to Song en-route Yola, the State capital.
It is being said that the destabilization of the northeast is aimed at preventing elections there in 2015.
The Emir of Kano has today announced that all Nigerians should not wait for the army but should defend themselves with any and whatever means possible against Boko Haram.
If anyone from Adamawa should be arrested, should it not be Alex Badeh for selling out Mubi with his bogus ceasefire?

Citizens Defend Yourselves From Boko Haram, Don’t Wait For Soldiers – Emir Sanusi Lamido II Calls
- Make preparations for defense whatever way possible… don’t wait for soldiers to defend you – Emir
The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has urged Nigerians to brace up to defend themselves against the extremist Boko Haram sect which has been mounting a bloody campaign against Nigerians killing, maiming and overrunning territories.
Speaking while making a closing remarks at the weekly recitation of the Holy Quran as part of prayers for peace in the country yesterday, Mr. Sanusi urged religious and community leaders to undertake the immediate task of reinventing courage in their people, particularly the youth, in preparation for self defence against Boko Haram attacks.
People must stand resolutely in the face of attack and not abandon their towns, women and children, the Emir said.
“These people”, the Emir recounted in Hausa and referring to Boko Haram, “when they attack towns, they kill boys and enslave girls… People must stand resolute. ”
He reminded the congregation of muslim clerics who came from various Islamic schools in Kano of the saying of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) that whoever dies in defence of his country, family, life or wealth is a martyr.
“People must not assume that the crisis will not reach their area,” the Emir prayed. “If it comes, “we are asking God to give us fortitude, but if He wishes to take martyrs from amongst us, we should be ready to give our lives.”
The Emir also called on the people to make preparation for defence with whatever way possible.
“People must not wait for soldiers to protect them. There are even instances where soldiers on ground ran away in the face of attack,” he said.
Since the fall of Mubi into the hands of insurgents, there have been calls from religious and opinion leaders in Northern Nigeria for people to rise and face Boko Haram without relying solely on government.
This has led to the liberation of the town early this week by hunters and local vigilantes. Also, when the insurgents moved to Gombi, they were successfully repelled the hunters.
The Emir asked hunters and experts in the area of security and defence to use their expertise in the quest for seeking the pleasure of God by employing it to end the current crisis.
The Emir expressed the hope that the insurgents would be defeated, affirming, “God will grant us victory over them.”
