Buhari Govt Borrowing Again: Seeks Senate Approval For $1.5bn Loan

The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has asked the Senate to approve $1.5 billion loan.

The loan is part of the 2016-2018 External Borrowing Plan of the federal government and is meant for projects in 10 states, according to the News Agency of Nigeria.

The Buhari government has been accused of delving into the borrowing business to fund its plans.
