This happened amidst incontrovertible reports and video showing the Nigerian Police force colluding with armed thugs in widespread efforts to rig the elections in favor of the unfavored and despised ruling APC party governor, Yahya Bello.
The United States has once again warned severe consequences including Visa denial for politicians and government officials engaged in violence and elections rigging.
Recently affected, governor Fayemi of Ekiti state was reportedly denied a US visa in relation to elections rigging and violence in his state. The Supreme court just overturned a controversial victory in Ekiti central which was ruled rigged by Fayemi’s APC party.
