Easter: Nigerian Christians, Muslims & Traditionalists Celebrate The Season At Pastor’s House [AUDIO]

In an effort to promote religious tolerance and better understanding among different faith base organization in Nigeria.

Large number of Muslims and christian both of them sat together without discrimination or any form of differences, ate and interacted ,Dialogue with one another for over Three hours at pastor Yohanna Buru’s home, that is located as sabon tasha –a region of southern part kaduna,northern Nigeria ,and begins rubbing mind on various ways to achieve lasting peace in the state and country ,and how the message of peace and unity ,living togetherness could be spread to other neighboring African countries.

In his opening remark the general over seer of Christ evangelical intercessory fellowship pastor Yohanna Buru, expressed satisfaction over the visit by Team of Muslims scholars and traditional Title holders and youth organization in the state, which is aimed at boosting peaceful co-existence among different Religious ,and on how to encourage religious tolerance.

Pastor Buru said,we must team together as one Nigerians irrespective of our different cultural and religious background ,in other to find means of ending all forms of ethno-religious and political crisis that is setting us back-ward comparing the northern states with the southern part of the region.” We don’t want relative peace but lasting peace that will come to stay in Northern Nigeria, Nigeria and in Africa. We are not asking anyone to compromise his/her faith but if we can understand one another, we will live in peace and harmony with every citizens, so as to make Nigeria great again and again.”

Buru pointed out clearly that,your coming to my house for Easter celebration,will surely boost Religious tolerance and better understanding between muslims and Christian in the whole part of the country,adding that Nigeria need the prayer by every one irrespective of his/her religious differences, to make the country great, and this would enable Government and all the civil societies and NGOs in carrying out their responsibility in both rural and urban cities in the country.

“It is only when there is peace,and Unity that all development partners from different part of the world,would like to come to Nigeria,but when there is no peace,there wont be any one that would like to visit our great country Nigeria,there fore,we must preach peace every were we go, so that we can attract the attention of development partners from different part of the world to come to our great country.”

The cleric also noted that, peace is the ultimate responsibilities of every patriotic in Nigeria,there every one must contribute his own quoter in spreading the message of peace and unity in Nigeria and all part of African region.

Responding on behalf of the Muslims that arrived the pastor House,Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu Cika-sonan zazzau,who is a traditional titled holder at unguwar ma’azu kaduna state, sad this is not our first time of coming to pastor Yohanna Buru ‘s house to celebrate Easter and Christmas,because we have been coming here for over 5 years to rejoiced with all the members of his church.

Alhaji Ahmed said,’its only through better understanding of the teachings of our holy Books,that we can surely over come all the crisis bedeviling peace stability in the entire 19 northern states of Nigeria that is setting us backward every day.

Ahmed said ,the Christian always comes to our mosques during the Ramadan season and break fast with us inside our mosques without any form of differences of hatred,it is therefore our own turn now,to always visit during the religious ceremony,in other to support both state and federal government in tackling insecurity challenges disturbing our villages.

Also responding mallam Gambo Abdullahi, who is one of the Islamic preacher in the state appealed to Government at all level in over coming the daily challenges of cattle-rustling, Armed robbery and Attacked in the villages, Kidnapping, Raping young girls, and urged para-military in tackling Ritual activities in Nigeria tertiary institute.

Gambo added that “its better for Nigerians and all CSOs and NGOs with religious leaders to support Government in the fight against corruption ,and find ways of punishing the wrong offenders that looter the country treasury,so that it could be a lesion for other criminal.” We expect you to extend this gospel of peace to people in your communities when you get back home and we must Teaches our children peace from the grassroots.”
