On Wednesday morning, Ukrainian military attacked a poultry farm in Russia’s Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), killing five people and injured 16, according to local officials.

The victims of the attack on the village of Karpaty, according to police, are construction workers. According to them, the shelling was launched from an American-made HIMARS system.

Cities and villages near the frontline in the LPR and the neighboring Donetsk People’s Republic are often targeted by artillery and rocket fire. According to officials, three individuals were killed and seven were injured in the LPR in the last week alone.

The city of Shebekino in Russia’s Belgorod Region, which borders Ukraine, was also hit by a “massive strike,” according to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov. He also stated that four people were injured.

Drones crashed into multiple high-rise residential buildings in Moscow on Tuesday morning, but no one was killed. Russian President Vladimir Putin described the raid as an attempt by Kiev to instill fear in Russian society.

Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko stated on Tuesday that a Russian drone attack on the Ukrainian capital killed one person and injured 11 others.

Russia and Ukraine both deny harming civilians, claiming that they solely target military and military-related sites.
