Assalamu alaykum (peace be with you) brothers and sisters in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Bangladesh and Turkey.
We the Muslims Against Terror were shocked to received alerts on terror attacks and bombing, rocking, various countries and culminating with an insane attack on one of Islam’s holiest sites, the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) Mosque and tomb in the Saudi city of Medina on 4th July, 2016/ 29th Ramadan 1437 A.H. A Suicide bomber killed at least four guards within striking distance of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) tomb.
In Turkey, 41 innocent victims were killed at the airport. In Iraq, 250 innocent victims, trying to shop and eat were bombed in the most deadly attack in Iraq since 2003.
A Muslim would not kill innocent people. A Muslim will not bomb one of Islam’s holiest places. “Bloodshed in the name of religion is unacceptable”. This act defies all reason. We call the attacks “criminal acts of terrorism which run counter to all teachings of holy faith and humanitarian values”.
We Muslims Against Terror, other Muslims and brothers in faith etc… condemn such evil acts across the world and even at the Prophet’s holy tomb.
We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our brothers in Iraq, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh and elsewhere in fighting the menace of terrorism.
“Terrorism knows no border or nationality and there is no solution except creating an international and regional united Muslim front against this “phenomenon”. “Terrorism knows no religion or belief or the meaning of humanity. Terrorists are confused individuals who answer only to Satan.
We call for global cooperation to root out this dangerous and destructive plague around the entire world.
We the Muslims Against Terror and other Muslim brothers urge the Saudi Arabian Government to join with America, United Kingdom, Russia, Iraq, Iran, France and any other truly committed nation in calling for the swift apprehension and punishment of the perpetrators and in deploying troops to bring an end to Daesh.
The attack was “the face of evil”. And now they attack the noble sanctuary of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) Mosque in an unforgivable act of terrorism.
The prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is reported to have said that anyone who harms the people of Medina, Allah will make him melt in fire like iron or like salt in water (Bukhari).
On behalf of Muslims Against Terror, we condemn the Medina attack as a new sign of the terrorists’ contempt for all that Muslims consider sacred. We offer our condolences to the families of all the innocent people killed and we stand with them in solidarity during this difficult time.
May Allah (the God) Guide them and protect us all (Ameen). Insha Allah, we will be victorious over “terrorists” and peace will return to the entire world. (Ameen).
