The Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria, PDP has been reported to have been purchasing voters cards from poor Nigerians.
Several concerned citizens have raised this alert that they have witnessed and been offered sums varying from N3000 to N5000 for the purchase of registered voters cards.
The state of Nigeria’s economy with over 100 million Nigerians living under a dollar a day has made such negotiations and purchases possible.
Cards have been bought in Abuja, Kaduna and other states from poor Nigerians. The cards being bought are ultimately expected to be used to rig the upcoming presidential elections.
This is a public service announcement for the utility of all concerned citizens and appropriate governing bodies.
