In a tweet that has gone viral, activist Dr. Peregrino Brimah observed with a picture he sent that rain was pouring in Abuja the capital of Nigeria to “wash away the blood shed” and horror of the outgoing Goodlcuk Jonathan government.
Tens of thousands of Nigerians were killed, hundreds abducted and millions displaced as mismanagement and lack of corruption that highlighted the Jonathan 5 year government promoted Boko Haram’s destruction of Nigeria. Poverty and destitution also hallmarks of the tenure led to unbearable suffering and death of Nigerians.
The atmosphere is joyous with Nigerians flying Nigeria’s flag for the first time in history as the Buhari and Osinbajo hope government is to be sworn in tomorrow.
