A Kaduna based Pastor, Yohanna Buru, has led a delegation of Christian leaders of Christ Evangelical Intercessory Fellowship Ministry, Sabon Tasha, to a Home of Hundreds Destitute and Other people with different kind of deformities ,which were given some gift item for children ,which is part of activities marking this year Saint Valentine’s Day.
Buru said “We choose these category of human beings with different deformities to celebrate with them every year simply because we felt they are the people of God that really need our love, care and assistance at this seasons. Many of them were been neglected and rejected by the society due to their nature,which makes live extremely difficult for them and their children to survived.”
According the clergy man,the Best way to celebrate valentine is to spend the whole day with less-privileged in the society,which include Handicapped Kids”Home of children with Deformities”, deaf and dumb, blindmen and those with leprocy problems and other people to visit were Widows,and internally displaced persons IDPs and Inmates.
Pastor Buru said “As people around the world celebrate valentine with their loves once, sharing beautiful flowers and many Good things of joy and happiness, we deem it fit to select less privileged and orphans with Refugees in other to make them understand that we loved them. We pray for God to help them overcome all their daily challenges.”
Indeed ,With the increasing hardship disturbing mostly widows with children in the societies that lost their Husband as a result of ethno-religious,political crisis, insurgency or illness etc,pastor buru also called on the wealthy individual,state and federal government and Humanitarian organization in the country to always remember to help the less privileged ,orphans, destitutes in the society whose welfare should not be based on government’s patronages only.
Buru pointed out that last year,”I celebrated the valentine with over 500 Inmates, Refugees,Physically challenged person by feeding them, and and also uses the opportunity of sensitizing them on the importance of sharing love irrespective of once religion or cultural background,cause we all are from one God ,and Adams and eve were our original biological parent.
The pastor also donated other humanitarian assistance to both Muslim and Christians inmates under going training at Mallam Niggers Rehabilitation Centre, Rigasa, and some Internally Displaced Persons at Badarawa.
Responding one of the Handicapped kids Musa that received The valentine Gift from Pastor Yohanna Buru told the press men that he feels happy that Pastor Buru always remember them during all festivity through out the year.
Musa said we always pray for this pastor because he usually cooked Good food for us during Both sallah and Christmas festivity, adding that up recent he repair our mosque, and donate new plastic kettle and prayer matts for us to be doing our daily prayers.
