An astute Aljazeera reporter interviewing Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari in Qatar ridiculed the president for paying for the training of his children abroad while banning Nigerians from access to dollars for the same.
Tough Luck
The reporter Martine Dennis asked why he does sponsor his children abroad, to which the squeamish president replied that “those who could afford it should.”
Martine said, “tough luck” for them I guess.
