Yelutide; Muslim Woman Spreads Holiday Cheer to Nigerian Christian Widows, IDPs and Orphans in Need for Christmas Celebration

In the spirit of love  and as part of efforts toward  boosting peaceful coexistence ,religious tolerance and better understanding among different faith base organization  in Kaduna state,  A Nigerian Muslim woman has distributed  food items which is aim at  helping Christian widows and orphans  with food stuff  to celebrate  the upcoming Christmas festivity  in the state.

Donating the food items, Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani said, every year ,she usually visit  the church  when Christmas is approaching to help widows with new wrappers  and share foodstuffs to them.

She equally  use to donate new cloths for orphans  , street destitute  with internally displaced person  IDPs  ,so that they can celebrate season  in joy and happiness like any other Christian celebrating the festivity in good mood.

She said, it make her happy helping widows , orphans, IDPs  and other street destitute that are in need of some humanitarian assistance.
Ramatu who is a Peace ambassador in Nigeria and  interfaith mediation specialist and a master in peace and conflict prevention  from Kaduna state university  said ,she  donated these food stuffs  for Christmas  celebration  to the  widows of Christ Evangelical Church Ministry located in Sabon Tasha, Kaduna.

“we must remember that we are created by one God, and Adams and Eve were our original biological parents, therefore  we must remembered that we are one family under God”

She equally appreciate the effort of Kaduna state  peace commission ,Interfaith mediation centre IMC,  Peace revival and reconciliation foundation of Nigeria , Global peace foundation ,Volunteer peace NGOs and CSO for their immense contribution toward promoting peace through out the 23 local government of kaduna state.

Aside from that, Ramatu said she wants to help alleviate the hardship that widows are facing. For this reason, her donations will benefit more than 20 Christian widows this Christmas season.

She urged  people to also extend a helping hand to the poor and the needy  at this Christmas. For her, the occasion provides Muslims an opportunity to show Christians that their religion promotes peace ,love, tolerance and better understanding,

She called on wealthy Christians  to remember to share their Christmas food with some internally displaced person IDPs, Inmate, and children at orphanage home  with street destitute ” The Physically challenged person”

While appealing to youth to shun drugs addict , she draw the attention of Christian and Muslims scholars to always promote peace and unity  through their teaching to the holy books to their followers

Responding  the general overseer of the church  Pastor Yohanna Buru thanked Tijjani for her generosity toward the Christian widows and orphans, saying she always comes to the church every festivity to assist  them

Buru said, she has done many beautiful things toward  helping  the church widows and orphans.

He said, for the last 4 years, she has been sending Christmas trees to decorate his house for Christmas.

The Christian clerics added that ,last year, she bail out over 20 Christians inmate during lenting seasons for them to participate in the 40 days praying and fasting at home with their friends and family  with  the sole purpose of promoting peace and unity among Nigerians

Buru  prayed that May God almighty  reward the peace ambassador richly because of her act of kindness this Christmas season and for the promotion of peace and tolerance in the state.

Buru then task parents to monitor the movement of their childrens during and after the festivity.

He concluded by warning youth against reckless driving during the festivity to avert road  accident.

He also pray for peace for Nigeria and the whole universe.
