Boko Haram Being Relocated To Niger-Chad Border Camps – Source

NewsRescue; Updated

One of our reliable sources in the northeast has alerted that Boko Haram terrorists are being actively relocated to new camps at the Niger-Chad border with Nigeria in the Lake Chad region.

Boko Haram lost Marte Island and regrouped at Karamga Island, the source said.

The source alleged that locals were ordered to evacuate the areas by the involved Multi National Joint Task Force, MNJTF men as Boko Haram was being resettled in the area.

Source said that Boko Haram still commands forces in the thousands and the Nigerian army was not actively killing or arresting them but rather relocating them.

It was noticed that a recent video purporting to show the bombardment of Sambisa forest by the hired foreign mercenaries and Nigerian army rather showed Boko Haram terrorists being allowed under supervision to flee the forest in convoys without signs of bombs being dropped.

Efforts to contact the Nigerian defense headquarters for a reaction have thus far not yielded fruit.

Update: Another source has added that the army is planning to go and route the terrorists from Karamga Island.
