24 hours after visiting some traditional rulers ahead of the 2015 presidential election, President Goodluck Jonathan, on Sunday stormed the Redeemed Christian Church of God where he called on Christian faithful to pray for the peace of the nation.
Jonathan who worshipped at Olive Tree Parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Banana Island, Ikoyi Lagos, alongside the General Overseer of the Church, Enoch Adeboye said Nigeria needed prayer for survival.
Addressing the congregation, President Jonathan disclosed that the issue of Boko Haram and other crime related cases remain the priority of his administration.
Reacting, the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Adeboye expressed belief that Nigeria would be great, adding that the church would continue to pray for Nigeria.
