In the wake of the death sentences being dished out to Nigerian service men for ‘betraying’ the mission against Boko Haram; Nigerians are beginning to ask why the Jonathan-led government is hasty to abide by the constitution when it comes to sentencing soldiers to death, but disobeys the very constitution in regard to its public policies and behavior with terrorists who have deliberately killed thousands of Nigerians in the north.

Though Nigeria’s laws and the anti terrorism bill clearly stipulate death for terrorism and absolutely no negotiation, the Goodluck Jonathan government to the dismay of the witnessing world, announced negotiations and proposed an amnesty with rewards to the Boko Haram terrorists.

Recently the Jonathan government unilaterally ceased fire agaibst the bloody terrorists in keeping with a sham deal that allowed them acquiese more Nigerian territory and kill more Nigerians.

Nigerians on twitter ask why the government does not negotiate with so to say and support the ill equipped army men and women to kill Boko Haram, but rather doea the reverse-negotiating with the terrorists to kill Nugerian soldiers and civilians? And then sentences more soldiers to death.

Boko Haram terrorists notably get lienient life sentences under the Jonathan-led Nigerian government. The problematic question Nigerians are contending with is that does terror not obviously pay under Jonathan?
