At the Africa4Her Arts Exhibition organized by Tender Arts Nigeria on Saturday, young women were applauded for demonstrating exceptional skills in arts creations.
The exhibition which held at the Terra Culture in Lagos was declared open by President of Women Arise, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin and graced by the U.S. Consul General, Mr. John Bray.
In her opening remark, Dr. Okei-Odumakin said that the world gives two options; abuse or applause. She specifically said women are mostly exposed to abuse.
However, she said, women who stood themselves out with hard works and skill demonstration are accorded respect and applause.
Her speech which was in PowerPoint presentation showcased some works of the participants, which she commended and enjoined everyone to congratulate the winners with her.
In his short remark, the U.S. Consul General, Mr. John Bray also acknowledged and cheered the participants, while congratulating the CEO of Tender Arts Nigeria, Mr. Kunle Adewale on the success of the program.
