Glenn Beck discussed the Ukraine war and the possibility of World War III in a shocking interview with former President Donald Trump.
Beck presented the dilemma in which he found himself in light of the war in Ukraine.
“I can’t find a good guy here, Mr. President,” Beck said. “I don’t trust Putin, I don’t think he’s a good guy. But I know… [Ukraine] is a shambles. And I don’t have faith in our government. I don’t want to start a fight. What are your thoughts on this?”
“I got to know a lot and learn a lot about [Ukraine]. “You are aware that the country is extremely corrupt,” Trump said.
However, when asked about the infamous phone call that led to President Trump’s impeachment, the former president expressed his gratitude to Zelenskyy. Instead, Zelenskyy chose to respond in a way that absolved Trump of any wrongdoing.
“[Zelenskyy] came out and said, ‘absolutely, he didn’t do anything wrong,'” Trump explained.
“Should we send more money and arms? “They’re talking about planes now?” Beck inquired.
“Well, we’re going to have World War III… “I’ve been saying that for a long time,” Trump said. “This is a war that should never have occurred. It would never have happened if I were in charge.”
“When you go to the Nord Stream Pipeline… now there’s some reporting saying we blew it up… “Do you think that’s true?” enquired Beck.
“Well, it could’ve been us, it could’ve been Ukraine, it could’ve been some third-party country looking for trouble,” Trump responded. “Russia was the one exception.”
“The most heartbreaking aspect of the war is that it should never have happened… You must now knock heads… That would imply saying things to Putin and Zelenskyy that they would not want to hear,” Trump continued.
“China is now offering to negotiate the peace there, but … we allowed [a Chinese spy balloon] to fly over our missile silos and strategic air command. If we’re being generous, this is dereliction of duty,” Beck said.
“There are those who claim… that the Biden family is truly conflicted and compromised when it comes to China. “There’s a lot of money floating around, and it’s a lot of money,” Trump said. “They may be compromised by China because of decisions that are being made.”
