The Public Complaint Commission (PCC), an agency of Federal Government directly accountable to President Muhamadu Buhari has secretly recruited 149 Nigerians without following fundamental civil service rules for public engagement.
PCC, an agency set up to provide platform where people could register their displeasure against all form of sleaze, maladministration and general misdemeanor in the Nation of Nigeria thereby solidifying and entrenching democracy and protecting human rights gave out appointment letters to their new illegally acquired staff on September 8th 2016.
Of the 149 new employees, 124 are from the Northern part of the country while the remaining 25 hail from the southern Nigeria.
One of the beneficiaries of the fraudulent recruitment who anonymously spoke to this writer said that she got the offer through the assistant of a family friend from Kaduna State.
The lady beneficiary who graduated from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State in 2012 hail from Gbonyin Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
According to her, the new recruits who are mainly the children and relations of Nigerian politicians and top civil servants from the north and few from the south are currently in Abuja, the federal capital territory to perfect their documentation.
Recall that federal government agencies such as Central Bank of Nigeria, Federal Inland Revenue Services, Nigeria Prison Services, Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation etc had earlier this year recruited children of political and business bigwigs in Nigeria without recourse to federal character and other rules of civil service engagement.
