APC Will Give Ndigbo Chance To Produce President – Chairman Oyegun, Sylva

The leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has said that the party will give the southeast region an opportunity to produce the country’s first president of Igbo extraction since the return to democracy.

APC national chairman, Chief John Oyegun and former governor of Bayelsa State, Chief Timipreye Sylva made this known yesterday, during the official commissioning of the Imo State House in Abuja during which the party stalwarts declared that only the APC had given the south east an opportunity to produce the president.

Oyegun applauded Imo State governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha for “his initiatives and achievements in the state”, noting that the APC was determined to rescue Nigeria from imminent collapse caused by the ruling party.

During his remarks Okorocha stated that Nigeria’s past glory which had been lost due to long years of misrule would be restored by the APC.
