As the Nigerian security services have since October 14th, 2015 apprehended and slammed a British citizen, Nnamdi Kanu, real name Nwannekaenyi Kenny Okwu-Kanu for terrorism charges and including operating a seditious broadcast out of the United Kingdom and purchasing deadly weapons for terror activities, Kenyan authorities have also locked up a Briton on charges of terror and forgery.
A Kenyan court on Thursday jailed accused British terrorist Jermaine Grant for nine years for forging documents.
Grant is still on trial for terrorism offences following his arrest in 2011 and was additionally found guilty by Judge Martin Muya of nine charges relating to forged documents.
“Grant is accused of ties to East Africa’s Al-Qaeda branch, the Shebab, after he was arrested and found to have chemicals, batteries and switches in his possession.
Prosecutors have also accused Grant, a Muslim convert, of working with fellow Briton Samantha Lewthwaite, dubbed the “White Widow” by the British tabloid press.” – Vanguard
