The recovery and rebuilding of the 5-year devastated northeast is continuing with the Nigerian army core of engineers rebuilding an essential bridge bombed away by Boko Haram terrorists, that links Maiduguri to Gamboru Ngala.
Boko Haram tried to cut off the north east and kill everybody there by purposefully blowing up all bridges to disconnect parts from anywhere. Trade routes were destroyed and blocked to cripple the economy.
