Following the exposition by popular activist and media producer Kayode Ogundamisi, the #IStandWithBuhari busuness has in response admitted that it is run by the same TAN Pro-Jonathanians and its DG has resigned.

The Director General #IStandWithBuhari, Chinedu Okpalanma was National coordinator, Goodluck Initiative for Transformation (GIFT) through last year.
Quoting from the response statement by “IBB boy” Mallam Yemi Saka:
While we have people who had at a point believed in former President Goodluck Jonathan, and why he must stay in office beyond 2015, and are now in the forefront of #istandwithbuhari, so was former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Rotimi Ameachi, and Rabiu Kwankwaso who at a point contributed to the fortune of former President Goodluck Jonathan. Is this enough to take anything away from them and their sincerity of purpose to the change agenda of President Buhari?

Okpalanma has also resigned as the DG of the campaign, saying that he took the step to show that the initiative is sincere and not about him. He said that following the backlash which greeted the news that he was the DG of the organisation, he felt the need to resign so that the group can achieve its lofty ideals without being bogged by distractions about his personality.
