Dirt War: EFCC 2016 Report of Kachikwu ‘Corruption, Laundering’ Given To Press After He Wrote Buhari On GMD

NewsRescue,

In what seems to have been a mud war, right after minister of state for petroleum Ibe Kachikwu wrote a 7 page letter to president Muhammadu Buhari, certain elements released an “indicting” 15-page report by the EFCC on Kachikwu from 2016 to the press.

Kachikwu had written president Muhammadu Buhari listing various serious allegations of lawlessness, insubordination and mismanagement of $26 billion by (GMD) by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Maikanti Baru.

The letter by Kachikwu was dated the 30th of August and was released to the public in October apparently as Buhari took no action on it.

However about 12 days after Kachikwu sent the letter, unknown persons released a 2016 EFCC damning report on Kachikwu himself which linked him with his own list of corrupt practices including embezzlement and money laundering with hundreds of millions transfers from Dutchess Energy company and to Dumebi Kachikwu.

The report was dated 24th March 2016 and addressed to Vice president Yemi Osinbajo. It was suspiciously just fed to the public through the media on September 12th via theWill, a San Francisco-based Nigerian editorial.
