According to intelligence analysts, the so-called Fulani kidnappers across Nigeria are not spontaneous criminals or the poor involved in crime, but part of a more elaborate organized crime gang in suit with Boko Haram.
Boko Haram realizing the luxury of the kidnapping business engaged satellite workers who hid in indigenous communities to engage in kidnapping as a form of funds sourcing for the terror organisation.
The Fulani suspects involved in the kidnap of Olu Falae and also suspectedly involved in the kidnap of a late Delta monarch are part of this terror gang. Moneys retrieved from the kidnapping is repatriated to Boko Haram bank accounts used to fund terror.
