UPDATE ON KANO ATTACK
Reports say a female suicide bomber, who targeted a congregation of female worshippers at Aliyu bn Abi Talib mosque, detonated the bomb immediately after she was denied entry into the prayer area.
The heavy explosion killed the female suicide bomber on the entrance of the mosque, off a busy Zoo Road highstreet of Kano.
Hospital sources say only one person was injured.
