In the case of misappropriated billions of dollars for arming Nigeria to combat Boko Haram including N333bn in “fictitious and phantom” arms contracts, the Nigerian government has said that former National security chief, Sambo Dasuki lied. He had been served invitations to be interrogated by the John Odeh-led panel. The invitations were served to his lawyer, but the former security chief snubbed them, Punch sources said.
Others indicted who will be served notice to court include former service chiefs, though some will only be invited as witnesses.
