A massive ongoing oil spill with grave pollution consequences is ongoing in Delta state after the notorious Niger Delta Avengers terror organisation bombed a pipeline belonging to Shell petroleum Development Company in Batan, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.
Confirmed by the Nigerian army, the terror attack occurred in the early hours of Monday this week.
The Niger Delta Avengers are fighting for freedom for Government Tompolo, a wanted militant leader indicted in gross corruption, as well as for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, charged with attempts to violently attack Nigeria.
