A Nigerian Wahhabi wrote a letter to me, the following is my reply to him:
Salam,
Mohammed ibn Abdulwahhab is not the founder of Saudi Arabia, the founder of Saudi Arabia was Abd ulAziz ibn Saud who was a paid agent of the British Empire. He was working for the British Empire to help destroy the Othman Empire.
As for my study of Wahhabism, I read Kitab ul-Tawhid of ibn Abdulwahhab and his other works. I also read some works of Ibn Taymiyyah al Harrani who inspired ibn Abdulwahhab. I also read the work of Sulayman ibn Abdulwahhab who was the brother of ibn Abdulwahhab, Sulayman condemned the work of his deviant brother.
Without disturbing you with theological issues, I want you to make a good and objective assessment of the Islamic world today. Ask yourself this question what is the biggest problem of Muslims today? Your answer will definitely be Wahhabi-inspired terrorism. Wahhabism is the only inclination that inspired the murderous terrorism that has killed 100s of 1000s of innocent Muslims in the name of Islam.
Islam preaches love, mercy and compassion but Wahhabism preaches hate, intolerance & #Terrorism. Muslims have a lot of pressing problems such as poverty, ignorance, scientific and technological backwardness, corrupt leaders who are puppets of Western imperialism and above all the brutal and inhuman occupation of #Palestine. But the intolerant Wahhabism have prevented Muslims from addressing these pressing problems, instead they have declared war upon Muslims and are busy poisoning the minds of Sunni Muslims against Shia Muslims.
Tell me what has Islam and Muslims gaining in all these bloody wars in Syria, Iraq and Yemen? Why can’t Muslims have peace and security in their countries? And all these wars are due to the hate – mongering and intolerance of Saudi-sponsored Wahhabism that is serving the agenda of our biggest enemies that are the Western imperialism & Global Zionism.
It is important to note that our God is one, our Prophet is one, our Quran is one, our Qibla is one, our prayers is one, our Ramadan fasting is one, our Zakat is one, our Hajj is one etc yet we keep on killing ourselves! We must differ on companions because companions differed among themselves to the extent that they declared war on each other and killed themselves!
But why do we not differ on the Prophets and Messengers of God? We do not differ on them because they are protected by God and have never fought each other despite the fact that some of them were contemporaries. Or have you ever heard that two Prophets fought each other or even insulted each other? But companions not only insulted each other but they fought and killed each other. Then is it not foolish that we will today be killing ourselves just because of them? When companions killed each other what did Islam and Muslims gained? Islam and Muslims gained nothing, and even today we will not gain anything by killing each other.
It is my hope that you ponder on the little I said here and purge your systems of the Wahhabi poison that makes one more inhuman than human.
