Nasarawa South 2015: PDP Give Us That Youths Friendly Senator; By Ibrahim Kabiru Dallah

By Ibrahim Kabiru Dallah

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter”. — Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

In the recent past, I have been writing and sharing my thoughts on the achievement of Senator Suleiman Asonya Adokwe in the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

As a former Students leader and aspiring politician, I am personally empowered by the Students and youths of the Nasarawa South Senatorial District to write this appeal with solid words and all sense of decorum because the time has come for all peace loving youths and Students of Nasarawa South, who aren’t driven with financial gains but are convinced with the wonderful performance of the Senator Adokwe in all ramification.

It is on this note that I want to register our thoughts that if the Nasarawa State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party really want to retain power in Nasarawa South and Nasarawa State by extension they should as a matter of urgency give us Senator Suleiman Asonya Adokwe without primary election based on his youths friendly and people’s oriented programs, youths and students empowerment and many more, in fact we are more comfortable with him to continue beyond 2015.

It is also extremely important for PDP to note that the only way to win the heart of Nasarawa South youths and students is give us Senator Suleiman Asonya Adokwe in 2015.

As a people, we have noted that Senator Suleiman Asonya Adokwe is the ONLY credible, reputable, intelligent, energetic, discipline, dynamic, pragmatic and principled character in the next coming general elections.

We are not unaware of the fact that some people are in the race today because they want to distract our hard working Senator Adokwe, if not, where were they when Senator Adokwe and others are busy sustaining the PDP party structure while some of them were on self-exile in the defunct CPC in Nasarawa State.

We heard with one ear that some of these contestants are now promising heaven on earth. The truth is that if some of them in both their public and private life could not do anything to improve the livelihood of an ordinary youths in the street of Lafia, Obi, Awe, Doma, and Keana when they had an opportunity to serve people better, what makes people think they can do something now that youths are smarter.

Anything short of this, any candidate that finds his way through the primary apart from Senator Suleiman Asonya Adokwe may result to zero-votes from the youths and students that constitutes 70% of the Nasarawa Souths , because these thousands votes aren’t for PDP alone, they are for youths friendly Senator, the pride of Alago Nation and the only hope of the Nigerian Youths and Students in Nasarawa South. It will be a blessing for PDP to win again in Nasarawa South on a platter of Gold by fielding the Youths friendly Senator.

Therefore, without being hypocritical we want to sincerely thank the people of Nasarawa South that voted Senator Suleiman Asonya Adokwe in 2007 and 2011, don’t forget, we still need your vote, support and prayers for Senator Suleiman Asonya Adokwe to continue with more dividends of democracy beyond 2015.
