Onawo’s One Good Term Deserves Another

After a carefully study and assessment analysis of meritorious service of Hon Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo, Chairman House Committee on industries for the past three and half years at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly – Abuja, representing Awe/Doma/Keana Federal Constituency of Nasarawa State. It is imperative to examine some of the reasons the good people of Awe/Doma/Keana Federal Constituency are gladly calling for his automatic return for a second term in office.

The journey of the 7th National Assembly has not been a tarred and smooth one in terms of legislative and oversight function within the chamber and the general outlook of the events in the country – a distraction too expensive to playback and despite all, Hon. Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo shine like a million stars to the admiration of his fans, colleagues and adversaries. Here are some of the reasons Hon. Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo deserves our vote for second term for the sake of our future.

Onawo’s biggest achievements in the National Assembly are as follows; 3 Blocks of classroom with furniture and VIP Toilet at GSS Doma North, 3 Blocks of classroom with furniture and VIP Toilet at RCM School – Doma, 2 Blocks of Classroom  with furniture at GSS Okpa-Gose, 2 Blocks of classroom at GSS Alagye, an ICT Centre in Doma, Donated and installed 300KVA Transformer at the front of Mr. Mathew Akwe Doma House – Rutu Road, Donated and installed 300KVA Transformer at Millionaires Quarters – Doma, Donated and installed 300KVA Transformer at Ipugigu – Doma, Donated and installed 200KVA Transformer behind St. John Bosco Secondary School-Doma, installed 40 Solar street lights in Doma, Doctor’s Quarter at General Hospital – Doma, Solar Powered Motorized Borehole at General Hospital – Doma, Solar Powered Motorized Borehole at Agbashi, Hand Pump Borehole at Ediya, Hand Pump Borehole at Igbabo, Hand Pump Borehole at Okpata, Hand Pump Borehole at Mudu, Hand Pump Borehole at Angwa Uku – Doma, an on-going Hand Pump Borehole at Primary  Education Authority Office – Doma,  free Medical treatments to the less privileged people, equipped  Satellite Room of Federal Government Secondary School – Doma, Donated Building materials and motorcycle to many individuals.

Our gem provided Solar Powered motorized Borehole at Masalachin Juma’a – Awe, motorized Borehole at Azara Emirate Palace, Hand Pump Borehole at Ribi, Hand Pump Borehole at IBI, Hand Pump Borehole at Abuni, Hand Pump Borehole at Mararaba Wurji, Hand Pump Borehole at Gidan Uwa, Donated and installed 300KVA Transformer at Awe, Donated 1- 7HP Maikano Generator to Emir’s Palace – Awe, an ICT Centre in Awe, Fenced Muslim Cemetery at Awe, and on-going construction of Town Hall at Awe.

Beside, Onawo’s provided Solar powered Motorized Borehole at Obene, Solar powered Motorized Borehole at Amiri, Hand pump Borehole at Kadarko, Hand Pump Borehole at Kwara, Hand Pump Borehole at Agaza, Hand Pump Borehole at Giza, Hand Pump Borehole at Gdayima, Donated and installed 300KVA Transformer at Obene, and on-going construction of Mahautan Keana projects are but a few Onawo’s gleaming achievements.

It’s glaringly clear, the achievements and credibility that Onawo’s stacked up in his first term in National Assembly has puts him in a strong advantage to continue serve the good people of Awe/Doma/Keana Federal Constituency for the next four years. He has performed his duty competently, honestly and in the best interest of all the people. He has sponsored numerous bills and motion in the Green Chamber. Without mincing words, Onawo’s has grown into the legislative job admirably and fully. No doubt we want him to continue the good work come May 29, 2015.
