The Punch newspaper reported that some of the party members who left the party at various times want to rejoin the PDP had gone ahead to write the national leadership of the party in Abuja to prevail on the state leadership of the party led by Governor Jonah Jang to receive them into the party.

Furtherance to this, a Mohammed Bello led-committee has been set up with the mandate of reconciling the aggrieved members.
