The recently concluded Kogi state elections were marred with violence reminiscent of the era of violence decades ago in Africa.
Many voters were killed as police colluded with armed thugs to cart away ballot boxes where the incumbent governor had no chances.
In this video, the governor’s convoy itself is seen actively carting away ballot boxes while firing shots to terrorize voters. The people shouted “Ole!” “Thief!”
