The former president Abdulsalami “peace committee,” aka “Corruption amnesty committee” according to our findings did not only solicit escape for former President Goodluck Jonathan during their meeting with Buhari, but also lobbied for Senate President Bukola Saraki.

saraki rules

Describing the reason for the meeting, Bishop Kukah had said, “Again, our own commitment is not to intimidate or fight anybody. The former president’s commitment and what he did still remains spectacular, and I think that President Buhari himself appreciates that. So, our effort really is to make sure that the right thing is done”.

This praise and mercy excuse was because there were global fears that former President Jonathan would resort to terror and terrorize Nigeria rather than accept defeat and hand over.

But in addition, NewsRescue gathered that the lobby also tried to put in words for embattled and corruption and forgery felony accused and investigated Senate President Bukola Saraki.

In response the President, Muhammad Buhari simply rebuffed them and said he had nothing to say, they should go talk to Saraki instead. The lobby proceeded to look for Saraki.
