NewsRescue

The attacks by combined teams of government security officials and armed takfiri youth on Shia Muslims has continued into the weekend in Kaduna with dozens being murdered across the state and properties being burned.

The assailants accompanied by police are going from house to house to seek out and kill Shia Muslims and burn their properties according to reports we are receiving.

From Kaduna, an affected minority Muslim Muhammad Ishiaka wailed,

“Today is the worst. They are going house by house in Kaduna destroying our personal houses. I can’t say how many people are dead now, because whoever they meet at the house, they are killing. They are going with the police.”

While the Shia Muslims and the Islamic movement organisation has said it will not retaliate or resort to violence but remains patient, the persecution and repression continues with government-supported takfiri youth picking and killing people with the semblance of Shi’ism anywhere they are seen.

Shariff Auwal posted that they just destroyed his house and that he does not know the fate of his family.

“To sun rushe Gidana da baikai darajan na Malam Zakzaky ba, sannan sun sari Yarinyata da bata kai su Sayyid Ahmad ba. Sun tar watsa Gidan banda labarin inda kowa yake a gidan a yanzu.”

Takfiri terrorists are even seen taking their time and spending hours while guarded by police, manually tearing down Shia buildings in the state as captured in this video:

While the police and army were seen aiding and transporting the takfiri terrorist extremist thugs to pursue and kill Shia Muslims, none of these murderous elements have bene arrested while dozens of Shia Muslims remain in detention and denied bail days after their arrest.

Soldiers and police were seen in videos beating up and killing Shia Muslims to the jeering of the extremist crowds.

Garba Mohammed in PremiumTimes reports:

Two members of the Shiite movement were reportedly killed on Saturday as the group tried to rebuild its school destroyed near Zango road, Tudun Wada in Kaduna, witnesses said.

Ten other members were injured in the attack.

This has caused panic as many residents of Tudun Wada, Ungwan Muazu, Kinkinau remained indoors. Those caught up along Nnamdi Azikwe way and other streets scampered for safety.

Bala Zango, a shop owner along Zango Road, said the issue was getting out of hand as hundreds of youth were advancing towards Ungwan Muazu to hunt for Shiite members.

Ungwan Muazu is among the areas in Kaduna, where many Shiites reside.

“We heard that, two persons suspected to be members of the Shiite were dead,” he said. “It’s very scary because at the end of the day, it’s the innocent people that will fall victim.”

Some witnesses said Awwal Maikyau, the Special Adviser on Youth to Governor Nasir El-Rufai, was attacked as he attempted to mediate.

“Awwal Yaro Maikyau, the Governors SA on youths whose house is close to the scene of the incident, was also attacked while trying to mediate between them and the irate youths,” a family member confirmed.

The Shiites said they were attacked as they tried to rebuild the sect’s school that was attacked on Tuesday.

“Some thugs came to attack us with weapons, insisting that we must be evicted completely from the place,” one member told PREMIUM TIMES.

“Police arrived the scene and went with some of our members and some community members for settlement.

“As they left, 10 of our Shiite members were machete. It was rumoured that one person died, but we are still making inquiries to confirm.

“This is the danger behind playing politics with religion,” the member said.

The police spokesperson, Aliyu Usman, told PREMIUM TIMES police monitoring the situation.

“Please be patient, we are monitoring the situation, we shall get back to you later,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Shia Islamic movement of Nigeria on Friday criticised Gov. El Rufai for condemning attacks on its members, saying the governor was behind the attacks and his stance was an afterthought.

A Saudi trained Sokoto university lecturer has bragged that “Sunni Ulama” plotted the current and ongoing repression and deadly persecution of Shia Muslims.

We did it - Sheikh Jabir
We did it – Sheikh Jabir Sani Maihula

Jabir Sani Maihula is a lecturer at Sokoto State University.

He said in his faceBook post:

“Dayawa cikin ahlussunnah yanzu sun fara fahimtar cewa: Kusantar Malaman Ahlusunnah ga jagoranci na shekara daya yafi tasiri a kan wa’azi na shekara biyar. Ku baiwa malaman ku uzuri kada ku munana masu zato. Wani aiki da kuke murna akanshi yau su sukayi shi a karshi kasa sanadiyar alakar su mai kyau da jagoranci. ”

Meaning:

“Most Ahlussunnah have now realized that:
Being close to the leadership for one year makes more impact than preaching of five years, you should give your Ulama the benefit of doubt and don’t loose confidence in them. One particular job that most of you are happy with today is made possible by them through underground moves. “
