“Diezani $ Billions Robbery” Via Kerosene Subsidy Part Of “Missing $20 Bn” – Emir Sanusi

Former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and  current Emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi, says the issues surrounding the missing $20bn ‘unaccounted for’ oil money have not yet been resolved.

The Emir said this while speaking to CNN’s Christiane Amanpour.

Emir Sanusi said that the kerosene subsidy billions Nigerians are being defrauded of under the NNPC, without any official directive to maintain the subsidy, is part of the missing billions.

It can be recalled that Emir Sanusi, then Central Bank governor discovered over 50 billion dollars not remitted to the state account. After reconciliation, it was found that $20 billion was “unaccounted for.”

A Pricewaterhouse audit that has not yet been released to the public found over $1 billion missing. However this audit mischievously did not take into account the fraudulent kerosene subsidy figures that are being stolen from the Nigerian masses every day.

There is no real subsidy but just a channel through which the Cabal led by oil minister Diezani Alison-Madueke funnels billions of dollars annually to her and the president’s accounts.

If included, the missing amount will be over $12-20 billion in 18 months examined and over 100 billion for the full period of Jonathan’s rule.
