Nassarawa Youths Protest Move To Impeach Al-Makura – NewsRescue.com

Aggrieved youths in Nassarawa State, today marched on to the Maraba-Nyanya road to protest against move to impeach Governor Tanko Almakura.

NewsRescue gathered that the protesting youths burned tires and carried placards which reads: ‘Gov Almakura Our Messiah can’t be impeached’.

Governor Tanko Al-Makura is currently facing impeachment notice by the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, and has left Lafia to Abuja to seek Presidential intervention.

Policemen were reported to have moved to the scene to prevent the protest from further escalating.
