As a patriotic citizen of Nasarawa State, I  am compelled to draw the attention of the President and C-in-C of The Federal. Republic of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan,  the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Honorable Attorney General of the Federation, Inspector General of Police, Amnesty International, National Human Rights Commission, NYCN, NANS, Festus Keyamo SAN, Barrister Aigbokhan Prest and other Human Rights Activists, the Media, Social and Public Commentators, and the general public to the continued unlawful detention of Comrade Abubakar Yusuf Doma (Sarkin Yakin NANS) in the Lafia prison before the Governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura destroy and ruin the Youths of Nasarawa State in his quest to succeed his second term’s bid.

It is on record that Alhaji Ahmed Abdul-Kura (An elder brother to Governor Almakura), the Emir of Kwandare, Nasarawa State was attacked in February, 2014 by some group of unknown thugs in his palace but fortunately he escaped the attacks with the special grace of God.

As I write, the Governor of Nasarawa State, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has forgotten his official duties and politicise and personalised the unfortunate incident of that happened to his elder brother to the extent of detaining one of of our visionary, amiable, respected, dynamic, and indefatigable youths leader, the former NANS National Director of Mobilization, Comrade Abubakar Yusuf Doma (Sarkin Yakin NAN) who before his unlawful detention in February, 2014 was one of the leading gubernatorial aspirant in Nasarawa State as a suspects.

Comrade Abubakar Yusuf Doma who by virtue of Section 36(5) CFRN 1999 (amended) is presumed innocent until proved guilty was initially detained at the police CID of the Nasarawa State Command and was directly transfered to the prison in Lafia without fair hearing and injuction from the court of competent jurisdiction.

As a Youth and Students leader in Nasarawa State and Nigeria by extention, I see it as embarrassing, undemocratic and a slap on the intellectual citizens of Nasarawa State for a serving Governor to continued detaining a youths leader for an offence I can categorically, without of intimidation, fear or favour and without being hypocritical say that Comrade Abubakar Yusuf Doma did not commits the offence based on his peaceful co-existent with students and youth across the State that earned the award PEACE AMBASSADOR from different associations unless proves otherwise by the court of competent jurisdiction, as such we see this as one of the tactics being used by Governor Almakura to frustrate youth leaders out of the coming 2015 general elections.

It is unfortunate that up til date the Governor has refused to looks beyond his nose to reciprocate the kind gesture of the teeming youths of Nasarawa State that voted him into the Nasarawa State Government House, Shendam road during the 2011 general election.

The treatment meted on Comrade Abubakar Yusuf Doma by the Government of Nasarawa State has once again vindicated me that the future of the youths is not assured and have no protection under the law due to the undemocratic and bad leadership of Almakura , as such this also adds credence to the fact that the Nasarawa State Government is anti people.

It is time for the youths of Nasarawa State to rise against the Government of imbiciles, bloodsuckers, liars and starts thinking about how to vote Almakura out of office come 2015 because “An Injustice Anywhere Is A Threat To Justice Anywhere” and “An Injury To One Is An Injury To All”, it might be you tomorrow that will be in detention, if we don’t come out and lean our voices on the injustice been meted on the Nigerian youths in Nasarawa State by Governor Almakura.

It is noteworthy that I can not be blackmail into silence, I lost my fears many years ago, we would continue to say things the way they are untill Almakura realised that his goverment is anti youth and masses.

Conclusively, I know that some people will shamefully ask that what is the interest of Ibrahim Kabiru Dallah in the ongoing undemocratic behaviour of Governor Almakura, however, I want the whole world to remember that Nigerian Youths were parts and parcels of those that fought for the return of Democracy back into Nigeria. In addendum, I decided to kick since some known self-acclaimed human rights activists, Youth and student leaders of Nasarawa State such as Barrister Innocent Lagi (Antorney General, Nasarawa State), Comrade Kasim M. Kasim, Comrade Yusuf Atala, All Students Union Presidents, Barrister M.I Dikko, Amb. Taimako Sunday, Alhassan Gimba, Babayaro Keana, Abba Abba, Salome M. John, Abubakar Muluku etc have all gone on silence without being their brother keeper.

As at Tuesday, 22nd April, 2014 Comrade Abubakar has been transfered to Keffi prison, Nasarawa State without any information coming from the part of the Government, I could have kept mute and called all the people I know in the Federal Government to call the IGP but I need the Nigerian youths in Nasarawa State to take this matter up today as one of their’s is been intimidated by the Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura  and the police and judiciary are playing to his tune detaining one of our own unlawfully.
It is time to forcefully acts and SAY NO to the Government of Almakura.

As a matter of urgency, we urge well meaning Nigerians and Media to save the young people of Nasarawa State from being destroyed and ruined by our anti masses Governor.
