NewsRescue- Nigeria’s Muslims are waging a war against Boko Haram. It is obvious they have had enough as they are becoming most vocal against the terror menace. Recently Boko Haram has been seen to be carrying out more attacks against Muslim leaders for routing them out to the enforcement. There have also been several episodes of Kaduna youth capturing and killing Boko Haram members.

It pleases our brotherhood that respected brother, Sheik Gumi is answering the call of Islam and our noble Prophet, Mohammed(P) and bravely condemning the Munafikis(Hypocrites) giving Islam a bad name.
Last Friday, Sheik Gumi in his Ramadan sermon, condemned the acts of these terrorists and assured them that unless they repent, they will not see their Lord. He condemned their killing of innocent Muslims and Christians in Nigeria. He also called on all other Muslim leaders to be brave and make the same call so Boko Haram may be defeated soon.
May Allah reward him and protect him, Amin. We call on all Mosques, all Imams and all Muslims to fear none but Allah. Pick up the banner and sword of Islam and chase Abubakar Shekau’s Boko Haram out from wherever they hide and bring them to justice on earth and justice before their Lord.
In his latest sermon, he declared e teaching of Islam and the Noble Quran, that there is no compulsion in religion. Here is the report from Saharareporters;
Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Abubakar Gumi, the Saudi Arabia-based Nigerian Islamic scholar, stated this evening that there is no compulsion on non-Muslims to convert to Islam. Mr. Gumi made the assertion in his ongoing Ramadan sermon at the historic Sultan Muhammadu Bello Mosque in Kaduna.
The teaching came against the background of a recent statement by the militant Islamist group, Boko Haram, demanding that President Goodluck Jonathan convert to Islam.
A source who attended the Ramadan teaching at the mosque said the cleric also warned Muslims to remain focused and deeply committed to true Islamic doctrines and teachings in order to avoid the wrong application of their faith.
The source said, “Mallam [Teacher] made it clear today that there is no compulsion and forceful conversion to our Islamic religion. He explained that enemies of Islam and some misguided Muslims are responsible for creating confusion and division among Muslim Ummah.”
The source disclosed that Sheik Gumi also said that there were deliberate plans by some to present Islam in bad light. “He made it clear that Muslims are not against Christians or any religion, but wondered why it is that whenever the talk about Sharia comes up, some lie and throw up all kinds of falsehood that there is a plot to Islamize Nigeria.”
Our source said Mr. Gumi contended that there was considerable evidence that Sharia law had helped to reduce moral vices in Zamfara State and other areas. He wondered why Muslims come under unnecessary attacks from certain quarters in the course of practicing their beliefs. He then enjoined Muslims to remain law abiding and to embrace good religious knowledge for the reduction of ignorance.
The source added that Sheik Gumi extolled his audience as well as Muslims to work towards ensuring that only right and moral leaders are elected henceforth. The cleric argued that the election of such leaders would address many challenges in Nigeria.
Sheikh Gumi disclosed his agreement with another fellow who argued that democracy was anti-Islam and should be avoided. “Malam told us that democracy should be embraced to ensure equality, justice and fairness. He said it is not possible to follow some teachings in Egypt and other countries whose situations are not the same as ours.”
In concluding his talk, Sheikh Gumi implored Muslims to seek knowledge in order to know what they are doing and to follow Allah accordingly.

This defines that it is actually the duty of all believers who include,- Muslims, Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, and the like to protect all, bar none, Holy places. The Northern Muslims are once again implored to sacrifice their lives to protect all religious sanctuaries in which ‘Allah (God)’s name is called.
Islam further expresses as obtains in the Holy book, that whoever kills an innocent person, is compared to a person who has killed all of humankind, likewise, whoever saves an person has equivocally saved the entire mankind. We all know the feeling we had for all the innocent victims of the evil of this group, we all felt a part of us die per innocent victim killed in their attacks. Giving them a platform to announce their evil, the reasons for their evil only promotes their success, which is not in the best of our interest.

The Hadith (sayings and acts of the prophet of Islam), also described of these so-called Muslims of the end time:
“A people will come out at the end of times, immature, foolish and corrupt. They will hold the discourse of the best of creation and recite Qur’an, but it will not go past their throats. They will pass through religion the way an arrow passes through its quarry. If you find them, kill them, for verily whoever kills them will have his reward from Allah the Day of Judgment.”
