The image below takes us back to the time of the 1985 Babangida-Gusau military takeover when Sambo Dasuki led by rtd Colonel Abdulmumini Aminu arrested then President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
Although this picture is from some time earlier, probably when Buhari was a governor, the picture higlights that vital period in Nigeria’s history.
Buhari was detained on the Sallah eve of 1985 and subsequently detained for about two years.
Today Dasuki, the Prince of Sokoto is known as one of the greatest thieves that ever lived the earth.
