El-Rufai Is A Malicious Liar, Pathological Purveyor of Untruths With No Regards to Integrity – Obasanjo

Our politics book review team extracted several phrases about the current governor of Kaduna state, Nasir el-Rufai from former president Olusegun Obasanjo’s “My Watch” book released in 2015 that relate to current political events. Here they are:

My Watch Vol 2 page 110 by Olusegun Obasanjo, OBJ

“…I should bring up Nasir el Rufai here because of the greatest insults he piled on me in his book ‘Accidental Public Servant’ on the issue of 3rd term.

“Nasir’s penchant for reputation damaging is almost pathological. Why does he do it? He is brilliant and smart. …I appreciated his brilliance and acknowledged his weaknesses; the worst being his inability to be loyal to any person or issue for long…

“I believe he can still be used for public service under guidance, making allowance for ‘his petite size and his elephantine brain’

“He was described as a malicious liar. He was more than that ; he is a pathological purveyor of untruths and half truths with no regards to integrity …”

Oddly Confirming the “no integrity” points, el-Rufai is seen here in May of 2016 kneeling for Obasanjo who published those words about him

Another excerpt: My watch volume 2 page 98 by OBJ

“…if my NASS liaison Ita-Giwa and my attorney general Bayo Ojo were neither overtly or covertly asked to work on 3rd term , how can I be charged with maneuvering or planning for 3rd time?

“Those regarded as influential and have publicly accused me of maneuvering for 3rd time include Atiku , a blatant and shameless liar…….; El Rufai , a brilliant man, economical with the truth and without substantiating his claim in his book and has a track record of a turncoat ( vide his behavior against his foster father Zayyad and later Atiku). The other was Condelliza Rice who must have received her information from the Nigerian media or US Embassy…”

Pentagon’s UAP Caseload Tops 2,000 as Hegseth Doubles Down on Trump’s Disclosure Pledge — and the FY2026 NDAA Forces a Reckoning

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth says his team is 'digging in' on releasing UAP records. AARO's open caseload has crossed 2,000. The fiscal-2026 National Defense Authorization Act would compel the Pentagon to brief Congress on every UAP intercept by NORTHCOM-aligned commands going back to 2004. The disclosure question is no longer hypothetical.

Why Vitamin D Deficiency in Childhood May Be Programming Autoimmune Disease — McGill Team Maps the Mechanism

A McGill University team has shown that mice unable to produce vitamin D develop a smaller thymus with fewer cells and signs of premature 'leaky' immune aging — a mechanistic explanation for why the world's most consistent autoimmune-prevention nutrient is also one of its most ignored.

Trump-Putin May 9 Ceasefire Floated as Ukraine Hits Tuapse for Third Time and Strikes Perm Pipeline

After a 90-minute Trump-Putin call, Russia signaled openness to a temporary May 9 ceasefire timed to V-E Day. Ukraine, meanwhile, hit Russia's Tuapse Black Sea oil refinery a third time in two weeks and claimed responsibility for an explosion at a Perm pipeline facility — even as Odesa took its heaviest residential strike in months.
