Kebbi South Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bala Ibn Na’Allah has called on the Federal Government to investigate the Nigerian military over the party’s presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari’s certificate scandal.
Na’Allah, in an interview during campaign visit of Buhari yesterday in Birnin Kebbi, said the investigation became necessary, following revelation by former President Olusegun Obasanjo that the issue was once investigated and the records were found to be intact.
“Now that the school where Buhari graduated from in 1961 has released his WASC result, I believe the record has been put straight instead of dismissing it as the mischief that it is,” he added.
Buhari had during a press conference in Kano on Wednesday clarified the certificate issue even as his school released the results showing that he had five credits and one pass.
