Tribunal: David Mark’s Election Rigging Case Resumes This Week

Former Senate President, David Mark may be appearing before an Election Petition Tribunal, in person, this week.

The National Assembly Tribunal sitting in the case of Daniel Onjeh against Mark will resume hearing of the petition on Monday, August 10, 2015.

At the adjournment of the last sitting, the Tribunal granted Onjeh the leave to tender his last document in the court to enable him close his case same day his opponent would resume defence.

Sen. Mark, who’s is the first respondent to Onjeh’s petition, is expected to personally appear in court to adopt his deposition in order to give life to same.

Onjeh had earlier dragged Mark to court over the outcome of the March 28 national assembly election in Benue South Senatorial District, which he claimed was allegedly marred with irregularities.
