Nigeria’s first lady under investigation by the ICC has made some more careless statements on the campaign trail.
While speaking in Lokoja yesterday, Patience told the women in attendance to go and vote for her husband regardless of their health state. She said, “even if you are in labor ward, tell pikin you will not die, I will not die, and go out and vote Jonathan.”
Many have called for her detention as a risk to the safety of the public.
