According resident Malam Sulaiman, the fire outbreak started by 3:30am when the security stationed at the market reported it to their superiors. The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained but properties worth millions have been gutted by the fire.
Traders were seen removing what was left out of the rubble in the market. Fortunately there was no loss of life was recorded.
State Government fire service, America university Adamawa beverages fire service are stationed in the market and in control of the situation.
