Nigerian troops have recaptured Baga from Boko Haram militants today according to a tweet from the Nigeria defense spokesperson.
Baga was overrun by Boko Haram militants in January 2015 a few days after the Multi-national troops withdrew from army barracks of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF). –SR
