Civilians Defeat Boko Haram In Kalabalge Showdown

NewsRescue

Once again the brave warriors of Kalabalge have defeated Boko Haram.

In the events of this week, Boko Haram terrorists have been rampaging the northeast state of Borno, killing people found in villages and burning the villages down as the Nigerian government stalls the multinational joint task force for unknown and allegedly political electioneering reasons.

Dozens of the terrorists on motorcycles invaded Kalabalge, a town remembered for one of the greatest defeats of the terrorists in May of last year when civilians killed over 400 Boko Haram terrorists before the terrorists returned in June and decimated the town left to the mercy of disarmed civilians and no Nigerian military presence.

According to a local,  Njidda Amire, recounting at Fotokol, Boko Haram terrorists approached Kalabalge from Rann, the terrorists who were on a rampage and destroy mission had started killing and burning anything in sight. Upon entering Kala Balge, the warrior villagers who knew the terrorists were coming had prepared and hid in ditches and behind their homes in ambush. They pounced on the Boko Haram insurgents killing them mercilessly. Over 70 terrorists were killed.

The people of Kalabalge celebrated another victory though with trepidation as they know the terrorists will return until the Nigerian government seriously eliminates them and assumes its role to protect the communities.
