NewsRescue- In video posted on Youtube, August, the “Free Syrian Army” are seen posing with several child soldiers. The posting stated- Dozens of Islamist fighters in Deir Ezzor in the presence of several armed children some of whom are extremely young. The use of child soldiers by so called ‘Free Syrian Army’ insurgent groups has already emerged as a worrying theme of the conflict in Syria.

This was reported to the UN and published on Reuters way back in March, but unfortunately, the world powers turn a blind eye to the numerous atrocities in pursuit of their preferred gains.
U.N. gets reports of child soldiers with Syria rebels

(Reuters) – Syrian rebels fighting to oust President Bashar al-Assad have been accused of using children as fighters in violation of international conventions banning the recruitment of child soldiers, a senior U.N. official said on Monday.
The U.N. concern about the possibility that Syria’s opposition may be using child soldiers follows last week’s report from the New York-based rights group Human Rights Watch that armed Syrian opposition groups have kidnapped, tortured and executed members of supporters of Assad and members of his security forces.
“We are receiving allegations of children with the Free Syrian Army,” Radhika Coomaraswamy, U.N. special representative for children and armed conflict, said in response to a question about Syria’s rebels. She gave no details.
“We haven’t been able to verify or check” the veracity of those allegations, Coomaraswamy added.
Earlier this month the International Criminal Court in The Hague convicted Congolese warlord Thomas Lubanga Dyilo of using child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Link: http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/03/26/us-syria-un-idUSBRE82P0W220120326
The video posted below towards the end of the recording clearly shows several children, armed and kitted, holding and waving war weaponry.
The video depicts the announcement of the formation of numerous insurgent brigades some of whom seem to include foreign fighters, including the so called ‘Bashar the Dog batallion.’

As is happening in Mali, Nigeria and Algeria where the NATO-Arab league support of an Al-Qaeda overthrow of the Libyan government has led to instability and regional terror, including regime change in Mali. The future for Syria’s neighbors as this terrorist operated insurgency is heavily backed by western parties and the Arab block, is dreadful.
Neighboring Iraq is already experiencing the highest levels of terrorism with some of the most deadly bombings in its history, in the last month.
