The latest video released by the Boko Haram terrorist group reiterated their allegiance to Daesh terror organization in Syria and Iraq and also featured a new prioritized agenda by the group: the objective to “eradicate” Shia Muslims in Nigeria.
In the video the terrorists said, there was no retreat and no surrender.
After the bombing of a Shia procession in Kaduna on the 27th of November 2015 by suspected Boko Haram terrorists, killing over 20 Muslims, the terror group made a statement carried by the AFP in which they first promised to eradicate Shia Muslims in Nigeria.
The recent video released after a suspicious video by a Shekau stooge, while claiming the terror group was still capable, ensured to promise to annihilate Shia Muslims, an over 7 million minority sector of Nigeria.
The speaker with face covered made the pronouncement at about 2 minutes 30 seconds into the video. He also threatened “unbelievers” in the video.
Nigeria’s army in December is reported to have killed as many as 1000 Shia Muslims after a protest and confrontation with the army and buried hundreds in secret in mass graves. The soldiers were reported to be chanting, “the end of Shia in Nigeria,” the same was reported in a recent clamp down in Katsina.
It appears Shia Muslims are an endangered species.
